Nancy Ann Owen- from her Daughter
Nancy Ann Owen- from her Daughter

Nancy Ann Owen
(from Ginny Owen Grace- Class of 1962)

Nancy never had an easy life, but she felt blessed.  She was very creative and generous and loved to laugh.  She could entertain a line at the post office!  She loved a good party, especially if there was dancing! And, I'm sure she knew the words to every song!

Nancy had a natural love of nature.  As long as her health allowed, she kept a beautiful garden on her North Carolina hillside.  She also loved animals, and they loved her.

Less than 4 weeks before her death, Nancy moved to Tampa to live with her daughter and her family.  She felt so happy there...so loved.  It was unfortunate that she didn't have more time with them, but the time she had was, in her daughter's words, happy and comfortable.
